Each piece is originally created in a design software and transferred to wood by tracing with carbon graphite paper. I then burn the design on a wood canvas (most commonly birch wood but also poplar and pine) with a Colwood Super Pro II woodburner. Color is added with wood stains and I've lately become a big fan of Dixie Belle paints.
